A recent ad for Axe Peace deodorant features NASCAR driver Kyle Larson, spreading his message of love through a car racing competition. The ad starts with the commentator speaking on the microphone, and describing how Kyle is currently leading the race, and it looks like a ‘state of war’. However, Kyle being the man of peace himself believes in anything but war, and thus has his own ways of turning over a competitive game of car race into a love affair. Kyle drives through making steep turns and sudden brakes, as his lover prays he does well, and makes it till the end. But as soon as he drives away, there is a special surprise left behind for his lady love; her name spelled out in tire tracks! Sweet isn’t it? Axe Peace men certainly know how to win over the hearts of their ladies, and leave them in awe.

Don’t we just love the M&M’s characters? Well, we all love them enough to gobble them up in one go, but the Russian mafia’s love is a little sadistic! The Russian mafia loves M&M’s Yellow enough to chop him up in pieces, sprinkle him on top of a huge bowl of ice cream and eat him up. Yikes! This TVC by M&M’s and Geico is all about a well crafted cross promotion. But how can M&Ms be associated with an insurance company. Well what happens is kind of unexpected. M&M’s Ms Brown and Geico’s Gecko meet when Ms Brown decides to get insurance for herself. But because she is made from the best quality chocolate and is deliciously irresistible, she is a bad investment for insurance companies. Disgruntled, Ms Brown steps out of the Geico office only to be greeted by the ‘Happy Hump Day’ Geico camel, who is just being himself, hooting away and asking, “Guess what day is it?” A nice cross promotion campaign to generate some viral mileage.

A recent addition to the Coca Cola family is its latest product, Coca Cola Life that is a perfect alternative for the regular Coca Cola with lesser sugar and calories making it a great choice for diet drinkers. The latest ad to promote this new product targets young parents, and captures their emotions. The ad portrays how it feels like to care for a little toddler that can be a huge trouble. The ad features a young couple who anticipates the birth of their first child, and as soon as the kid enters their lives, their daily routines are turned topsy turvy, from putting the infant to sleep, to tidying up pools of toys that seem to gather everywhere, to finding every other thing in their house slimy, gooey and dirty. The ad shows how a couple goes through a massive change in life once they plan a kid. But…

Winters in Montreal, Canada, are harsh, cold and frosty. As most of Canadians might agree, travelling in the cold can be really hard, especially when you have to wait for your ride at open bus stops. Even a few minutes spent outdoors can become unbearable. Keeping this in mind, Duracell came up with a campaign idea. They decided to make the commuter’s wait easier by installing heaters at a few special bus stops. However, these heaters could only be activated once a human chain was formed through physical touch. Each person at both ends of the chain, had to place their hands on the sides of the bus stop to complete the circuit. As a result, more and more people came in, shared warmth by holding hands, and in the end the winters became much more bearable.

However, Honda Civic has broken a few records in Canada after maintaining its position as the top selling car for sixteen years now. In order to celebrate its huge success over the last sixteen years, Honda Civic released a TVC showing how they have grown over the years by marking sixteen as a special year for not only young adults who are just about to earn their drivers license but also for the company itself. The ad features a young sixteen year old about to take his driving test and a few failed parkings, a little bumping in the trash cans and some clumsy breaks. A recent ad released for para-athletes by a French Sports Daily Newspaper, L’Équipe entitled ‘Shadows’ shows how physically impaired athletes make it big through paralympics. The ad features a team of visually impaired soccer players competing against professional players of the AS Cecifoot de Saint-Mande team. The players meet at a field ready to take up the challenge of a soccer game against each other, however there is a huge twist for the AS Cecifoot de Saint-Mande players that awaits them. The lights are turned off, and the two teams are supposed to play a game of soccer in pitch darkness. Carefully making moves on sound of the soccer ball passing by them, for the para-athletes the game was a bunch of soccer tricks and required a lot of concentration and focus; something that they had already mastered over the years.
