In order to find and recruit skilled professionals in Netherlands, companies have to go through a lot of effort. To counter this issue for the times ahead and to get students interested in a technology career, Shell launched the “Chocolate Challenge.”

A nice brand activation / road show that engages students in a fun and exciting way to teach them about technical processes. A smartphone, a can of coke, a scooter; they all consist of parts that must be in the correct order and correctly put together. The road show also sparked competition among students giving away prizes to the winners.

The video is in Dutch, but since now you already know what it is about, you’ll be able to get how it was executed. Credit goes to BrandBase for concept & execution.

I’m a marketing strategist by day. Marketing and strategy are 2 things that I enjoy because they give me the chance to do what I do best: think, identify opportunities, and connect the dots. By night, I love to inspire people to think big. I truly believe and advocate that every individual has the potential to go beyond what he or she thinks they’re capable of.
